Privacy policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
This page explains what personal data Aerospec SA processes when you visit this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who is responsible
Aerospec SA, Chemin du Devent 7, 1024 Ecublens, Switzerland, is the controller for the personal data described here. For any question about this policy or to exercise the rights below, write to info@aerospec.ch.
What this website collects
Cookies. No cookie is set unless you agree to one. When you first visit, we ask whether we may use analytics cookies; until you accept, nothing is stored on your device and no identifier is kept. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of the page.
Analytics. If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is found and used — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether people go on to book a call. Your IP address is anonymised. We use this to judge whether our own marketing is working, not to identify you.
If you decline, Google Analytics still loads but is held in a mode where it may not write cookies or store any identifier. It reports only an anonymous, aggregate signal that a visit happened. We do this rather than withholding the tag entirely so that declining does not change what the page does or how fast it loads.
Server logs. Our hosting provider, Google Cloud, records standard technical information for each request: IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is necessary to operate the site securely and to diagnose faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a functioning, secure website. These logs are retained for 30 days and are not used to build any profile of you.
No forms. There is nothing on this site to fill in. We cannot receive your data through it.
When you choose to contact us
Booking a technical call takes you to Google's appointment scheduling service. Anything you enter there is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, and reaches us as a calendar booking. We use it to prepare for and hold the meeting you asked for.
If you email or telephone us, we keep that correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our record-keeping obligations.
Links to LinkedIn and Google Maps are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those services unless you click through, at which point their own policies apply.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. The only third parties involved are those needed to run the site and our business: Google Cloud (hosting, in Zurich, Switzerland), Google Workspace (email and calendar), and — only if you accept analytics cookies — Google Analytics. Where data is processed outside Switzerland or the EEA, it is covered by the standard contractual protections those providers offer.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing it. Write to info@aerospec.ch and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the European Economic Area, you may instead complain to your local supervisory authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
This policy describes Swiss and European data protection obligations in plain language. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
